It seems that the whole Democrats-sweeping-into-Congress thing has been paying off after all. It’s still only January, and they’ve already delivered on five of their six “first 100 hours” promises, with the sixth just about ready. And that’s not even including the huge rollback of oil subsidies that’s being used to encourage alternative energy.

Script Frenzy
I can tell you with some certainty that I’m going to write a screenplay in a month this summer. A novel was fun to write — and yes, you’ll see a draft of it — but a screenplay? Now that’s what I’m talkin’ about. I’ve had scripts running around in my head for years and years, so I can’t possibly pass up a chance to let one of them out. One crazy time-travel romantic comedy, comin’ up!

Just in case anyone forgot the 2006 election results, a USAToday poll reminds us: Americans want Democrats, not Bush, at helm. Our number-one priority? To paraphrase:
“Get the heck out of Iraq.” Seems plain enough to me.
