I’ve been posting to Global Spin ever since Chris gave me a user name and password, a decision I’m sure he came to regret not too long after. Well, if you break the eggs, you make the omelette, as I always say, so here I am.
I am really fascinated by this big blue, brown and green planet we live on and all of the various and sundry creeping, crawling, flying, walking, running and rooting things it has evolved. My career has run the gamut from tropical ecology to organic farming and you’ll often find that my contributions tend to lean toward such topics. However, I am a spawn of computer geek (as in, my dad invented the term “computer nerd”) and thus have a strange techie streak. Currently, I spend my days tending an organic vineyard, speaking Spanish, chasing sheep, riding horses and driving big trucks and tractors. Hey, it’s a living (and not a bad one at that).
I haven’t really published much else except the posts on this blog; sometimes people publish stuff about me, but not too often. My partner, Kerrigan Valentine, however, has recently published her first novel!
To sum up, I am a proud member of the geek freak nation that is Global Spin.
