Can anyone explain this to me?

Update:  Deana points out the lead-up in yesterday’s Get Fuzzy, plus a similar strip in today’s Pearls Before Swine. That was a lot of work to get to the funny.

    Yesterday’s Get Fuzzy was apparently the author of Get Fuzzy getting a phone call from the author of my absolutely favorite comic, Pearls Before Swine. The PBS guy said his story boards had been accidentally sent to the GF guy and that he should just throw them out. The GF guy said sure but then acted like he was going to do something with them… That’s what I remember anyway.
