Note that each move by any nation, presented as working for the interests of the Iraqi people, has been matched by a covert move to secure oil production rights. It’s the kind of policy only a Texas oil man could love.

Just in case it gets clouded, the main justification for attacking Iraq was the supposed presence of chemical, biological or nuclear weapons. Let me know if anyone finds any.
