   I love the use of beneficial organisms, especially for cleaning up environmental messes. There was a great article in “Yes” about a guy who cleans up toxic waste with his own blend of mushrooms:

   Such an interesting idea. It’s great to foster an understanding of the role of microorganisms in our environments, and heck, why not turn it into a business? It’s also something everyone can do. Contaminated soil is bad, and sterile soil is not our friend either…
