I’m just saying that I need to do serious editing on it, add some stuff, delete a lot, and just not look at it for a long while before I would be completely comfortable sharing it. Part of me wants to grab Chris or you or any other relatively kind person with a pulse and say, “Read this NOW!” and the other part says “no no no it’s awful come back later.”

So a dark drawer is a good compromise. Oh, and actually finishing it would be good, too.
