Screw the Children
The 2006 budget proposed by the Bush administration is truly sickening. This article by Molly Ivins says it so well that I'm too disgusted to comment.

Wow. "Promote the general welfare," that's right. That's in the Preamble to the Constitution. I hadn't even thought of that in terms of governmental responsibilities. I like it. I will use it in arguments.
1. Form a more perfect union
2. Establish justice
3. Ensure domestic tranquility
4. Provide for the common defense
5. Promote the general welfare
6. Secure the blessings of liberty
Very basic.
And yes, I'm sure you have that song in your head now.
