Send that rant to Congress!
The ACLU -- such a WONDERFUL organization, worthy of much praise and many donations -- has set up a web page so that you can fax your congressional representatives about the proposed constitutional amendment to ban same-sex marriage.

Done and done. I sent my fax today.
As obvious as the choice may seem, I think this is going to be a difficult fight in Congress. In an election year, politicians are wary of taking any strong stand, so we need to make it very plain that supporting this is NOT an option for representatives who want to stay in office.
