Yay! I’m so proud of you! I’ve got about 5400 words out of days one and two, and I’m sitting down to day three now. As for opening lines:

So yes, Thanne did make it over the mountain, coming out the other side.
She died shortly thereafter.
But we’ll get to that.

I don’t know how I’m going to get to “that”, however. Ah, well…

Kim: I’m still not sure how that’s going to work. My answer for now is “Wait until December,” because I’d prefer not to think of the novel in terms of other people seeing it.

I’ll be posting excerpts on the NaNoWriMo site whenever something gets written that I’m particularly proud of, but so far the only candidate has been the opening line. :)
